SecurePass Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

SecurePass is a password manager and encrypted vault service. This policy explains what data SecurePass collects and how that data is used by the SecurePass web app, backend, and browser extension.

Data We Collect

SecurePass may process account information such as your name and email address, authentication information needed to sign in, encrypted vault records, trusted-device and session metadata, and payment or address information that you choose to store in your vault.

The browser extension may read the current website URL and page forms so it can match, fill, or save vault items after you choose to use those features.

How We Use Data

Vault Encryption

Vault item contents are encrypted using client-side cryptography. SecurePass is designed so vault contents are decrypted locally after you unlock your vault. Passwords, addresses, and cards are filled only after user action.

Sharing and Selling Data

SecurePass does not sell user data. SecurePass does not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.

Browser Extension

The SecurePass browser extension uses permissions only for its password-manager purpose: detecting forms, matching the current site, filling selected vault items, saving approved items, opening the SecurePass web app, and storing extension settings and session state.

The extension does not execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. Extension code is packaged with the extension submitted to the Chrome Web Store.

Data Retention and Control

You can manage vault items, trusted devices, and active sessions from SecurePass. You may delete vault records you no longer want to keep.
